OVERVIEW of United Arab Emirates 
 
The United Arab Emirates is one of the most exciting and diverse locations, and one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world. With internationally leading hotels and restaurants, world class events centres and stadiums, diverse and unbeatable shopping, top quality amenities, and tourism attractions to rival any in current existence, not to mention a perfect warm climate year round, stunning beaches, and an intriguing culture and traditions still strongly honoured within this ultra-modern society.
 
The UAE consists of a constitutional federation of seven emirates made up of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Qaiwain, Ras al-Khaimah, and Fujairah located on the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
 
Featuring a diverse landscape of arid deserts and dunes, gravel plains, the rocky slopes of the Hajar Mountains, salt marshes, exquisite sandy beaches with warm temperate Gulf waters, coral reefs and off-shore islands. During the summer months the climate is hot and humid, with temperatures often reaching above 40ºC ( F), and winter months usually around a comfortable 25ºC (   F) during the daytime.
